I'm in backgammon heaven! :-)

Hi!

A Backgammon Studio themed P40 board just arrived! Can it get more awesome than this? I don't think so! :-)

I had no time for a lengthy unboxing video but I did restrain myself enough to take a couple of pictures when ripping off the wrapping!

I haven't played any match on it yet but the board looks very solid and I am confident I'll be smiling from ear to ear when playing on it!

Replacable back plates is also a brilliant touch! Very few boards are able to look fresh after years of wear and tear and if you can replace them, Hey! New board! :-)

This board deserves to be played well on! For that I guess I have to practice some more on Backgammon Studio...

Best regards,
TP

Hi,

Wondering how the Board turned out, now that it‘s 2 years down the road. Any issues with it? Great to play on? Would love to read some review on it!

Thanks!

Hi!

Still a very good board! I guess the only negative you could say about it is that it is a bit noisy. Especially the metal cups can become very noisy if you shake vigorously. I got some replacement cups from http://www.dice-cups.com/ so I can be more quiet if needed.

I did have an incident where the shoulder strap got loose and the board fell to the ground breaking off one of the plastic corners. Reporting the problem I quickly received replacement parts and I was able to replace the broken part. The quick-release part of the shoulder bag strap was perhaps not a good solution.

But the board I like the most is the one on https://heroes.backgammonstudio.com you can configure it in a wonderful amount of ways! :-)

Best regards,
TP
